Hermes: Hello everyone, and welcome back to the First Annual Character Awards!

Apollo: This will be our last segment of this show...

(Audience "aww"s and "boo"s, etc.)

Apollo: (clears throat and continues speaking over the noise) ... and we will be presenting the awards for Funniest god and Funniest Character!

(Audience continues booing)

Apollo: Oh, be quiet!

(Audience grows silent)

Hermes: Good. Now let's get on with this. Presenting the award for the funniest god is Thalia, the muse of comedy herself!

(Thalia enters)

Thalia: Hello! I am here to present the award for the god who is the most hilarious. And, just so you know, I'm not Thalia Grace. She's my sister, though. Anyway, the nominees are...

Aphrodite

Apollo

Hermes

Thalia: And the winner is... Apollo!

(Audience cheers; Apollo holds arms up while nodding and smiling smugly)

Apollo: Thank you, thank you. It means a lot, really. Perhaps I should thank you with a haiku...

Everyone: NO!

Apollo: (looking disappointed) Why not? Okay... Well thanks anyway!

Hermes: Apollo, since you are the funniest god, why don't you present the award for the Funniest Character(s)?

Apollo: I'd be obliged. The nominees are...

Apollo: The winner is... Leo Valdez, bad boy supreme!

Audience: LEO! LEO! LEO! LEO! LEO! LEO!

(Leo enters stage, gets award from Apollo)

Leo: THANK YOU SO MUCH! I love you all! I'm glad my corny jokes got me somewhere... So yeah! Thanks! TEAM LEO!

(Audience cheers, Leo exits)

Hermes: Well, that's all for this year!

Apollo: But don't worry; we'll be back next year!

Hermes: Until then... Watch out for those monsters! :)

(Fades to black, credits roll)

House of Hades Chapter I Discussion

Warning! May contain House of Hades spoilers! (I love the sound of that!)

 As you probably know, the House of Hades sneak peak came with the Son of Sobek e-book. If you haven't gotten to read it, you can read it here. (Link courtesy of percyjacksonforlife.blogspot.com, who was kind enough to post it.)

 This... I just... I don't even know. I feel so sorry for everyone on the Argo II right now. They're tired, bruised, broken, beaten down, and without a strong leader. My poor babies! </3 Without Percy and Annabeth, they have no backbone. They're under attack and they can't really do much about it with the time limit they're on. Hazel tries to take over, and lead them, but she just can't! Nico is still weak from the stupid twins kidnapping him, and Leo... poor Leo... He thinks the whole thing is his fault. He's working day and night and... just... :( I really didn't think it would be that bad!

 This is painful for me to think about. The more I write this, the more I feel sorry for these characters, and the more I want to read the House of Hades. So goodbye.

International Release Dates - Sea of Monsters Movie

 The Facebook page for the Percy Jackson movies released a comprehensive list of release dates for the Sea of Monsters in numerous different countries. It came about a while ago, but I have only stumbled upon it now. I found it worthy of sharing. I'm fairly certain that the U.S. date has been changed to the 7th, but I'm unsure of the others. Details for your country will probably be available to you closer to the release date, or even now if you look for them.

House of Hades - 1st Page

 Depending on how involved you are in the fandom, you may or may not have stumbled upon the first page of The House of Hades. I'm going to post a link instead of the actual picture so I don't get in trouble for anything. :P You can read it here here: House of Hades First Page Sneak Peak

 There's not much to say here, other than.. Hazel has a POV! One of my predictions was right! :D The Argo II also seems to be having some issues. That's not good.

 I have absolutely no idea how somebody accessed this early (the full sneak peak in Son of Sobek comes out in about a week, on the 18th), but if anything else surfaces, I'll be sure to let you know.

First Annual Character Awards Results Show, Part 5

Apollo: Hello, everyone! Welcome back to the Character Awards!

Hermes: Earlier, we made a minor mistake in announcing. One of us said that we would present the award for Coolest Child of the Big Three after the break. Well, that was an error. To make it up to you, we're going to present it now!

Apollo: The nominees are, of course:

Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus

Perseus Jackson, son of Poseidon

Bianca di Angelo, daughter of Hades

Nico di Angelo, son of Hades

Hazel Levesque, daughter of Pluto

Jason Grace, son of Jupiter

Hermes: The winner is... Percy Jackson!

Apollo: Well, that kid just has it all, doesn't he?

Hermes: It would appear so. Well, how about we break the news to him and Annabeth? 

Apollo: (gestures to screen behind him) Give a nice, warm welcome to Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase, appearing to you from Tartarus!

(Percy and Annabeth appear on screen in background. They look worn-down, startled, confused, and relieved.)

Percy: What is going on?

Annabeth: Is that Apollo? Hold on, who's the other god?

Percy: Annabeth, that's Hermes.

Hermes: Little insulted you didn't recognize me.

Annabeth: Sorry, Lord Hermes. But what's going on?

Hermes: You just won awards at the First Annual Character Awards!

Percy: Really? Sweet!

Apollo: Annabeth, you have won Most Relatable Character and Best Leader.

Hermes: Percy, you have won The Complete BOSS, Coolest Child of the Big Three, and Best of the Seven.

(Percy's and Annabeth's faces light up with joy)

Apollo: And you have both won... FAVORITE CANON SHIP!

(Audience explodes with applause and cheers)

Annabeth: Seaweed Brain, this is awesome!

Percy: (shrugs) Yeah, I guess it's cool. I mean, that people like us together. But let them think what they want. I'm fine, as long as we're together. I don't care what other people think about us.

Annabeth: Aww, Percy! (her eyes tear up as she gives him a meaningful kiss on the cheek)

(The Audience cheers as the couple smiles at each other. Aphrodite jumps up from her seat, sobbing uncontrollably while still cheering them on. Poseidon beams, content that his son is happy. Athena claps lightly, still not approving of their relationship.)

Apollo: We'll leave you two lovebirds alone. (winks)

Hermes: Good luck down there! (waves as Percy and Annabeth disappear from the screen)

Apollo: We'll be back after this short break!
